The Raw Talent Company are pleased to announce that they will continue to support Lynne McNicoll, in her mission to raise money for children and young people with cancer. We will be running free film and drama workshops for children with cancer this year (2013) for It’s Good 2 Give.

Why are we supporting this charity?

Director, Helen Raw says: "I have a long family history with cancer, I lost my father to malignant melanoma when I was only 19, my Gran to oesophageal cancer a few years ago and my Grandad to a brain tumour before I was even born. This disease has no age limits, it does not discriminate but it does devastate. When I heard of the work Lynne was doing I just felt that I had to get involved."

• Our next short film projects go into pre-production in October/November for filming in early 2013.

• Twisted (our longest short film, running at 15 minutes) is scheduled for filming in the summer of 2013.  Our casting and funding campaign will kick off around March.

• Our programme of acting workshops and classes will start again at the beginning of 2013 and we are pleased to announce that we will be running classes, workshops and seminars in Edinburgh AND Dundee.  We will also be working closely with another training provider to take classes further afield in Scotland.

2013 looks to be a very exciting year for us here at Raw Talent Towers.

We are filming the second part of 'Seance' this weekend (25th Aug) and are very much looking forward to it.

Once we have wrapped on this short, we will have completed 6 short films and 1 music video between the end of February and the end of August - not many production companies can claim to have shot and completed 7 films in 6 months!

We have a further 8 short films, a vampire music video and a horror feature film all in pre-production right now so keep checking back for castings!
