Showbusiness is the most frustrating, demoralising and energy sapping industry there is. However, it can also be the most rewarding! It is a business full of contradictions; Monday you may not make the grade but on Tuesday you are ‘the best we have seen all week’ and you’re hired.
We can provide workshops for all levels of ability, however, we specialise in new/beginner actors and those coming back into the industry after a break.
Every actor is different and we work with you to improve your strengths and challenge your weaknesses. Class numbers are kept very small to ensure you get as much 1-1 individual time as possible.
Please note that if you are offered representation and it sounds too good to be true or seems to be costing you a lot of money upfront, it's probably bogus. Phone us for advice and we will point you in the right direction. There are many people out there just waiting to make a buck from wannabe actors or excited parents. Classes, workshops and 1-1 sessions are available for those 17 years old and over. Our classes for younger students are booked on a bespoke basis through external organisations such as schools and outreach groups.

are your workshops and classes expensive?
WedWe don't think so! All our classes work out at between £5 and £8 per hour and are limited to 4-10 people, depending on the class. This is not a money spinning programme for us. The classes are designed to give beginners an insight into what is required of them to be a working actor. We are not here to promise you the world and tell you that you will be the next Robert De Niro or Meryl Streep! Our classes are a great stepping stone to further acting tuition and help you decide if acting really is for you before you go spending hundreds and thousands of pounds on drama schools and headshots.
what happens after I attend a workshop or class?
That is up to you! In order to work as an actor you must be pro-active and motivated. If you leave one of our workshops and go home to wait for the phone to ring, you will have wasted your money. No one is going to offer you work on a silver platter just because you have attended a class, course or training programme. It is up to you to market yourself effectively, get or create work and network – you are in charge of your career, not your agent, friends or peers and we can point you in the right direction to get started on the right track.
